Febronia (also called Feb) was the first in a series of transgenic type Realians created by Joachim Mizrahi; a special Realian who featured a more human-like structure and was to be used in the Zohar connection experiments. Her test data was used to create her sisters, Cecilia and Catherine, as well as Almadel, battle model Realians, and the 100-Series Observational Units. It is said in public data that this data was lost during the Miltian Conflict.

Febronia lived on Old Miltia; in a church not far from Labyrinthos, where she looked after a young Shion Uzuki during the Miltian Conflict. It was also during the Miltian Conflict that she met Luis Virgil, a Federation soldier. Virgil was injured to the point where he needed a multiple organ transplant, so Febronia gave him hers. She regenerated her missing organs at Labyrinthos, then quickly returned to look after Virgil. Over the time Virgil spent recovering, the two became close and love began to bloom. Then, when the Realians went berserk, she gave herself up to them to save Virgil and Shion. She was killed ruthlessly, then cannibalized.

During Episode I, Febronia appeared before Shion and company when they dove into KOS-MOS’s Encephalon. She wanted Shion to confront her painful past and showed everyone the imaginary world Cecilia and Catherine were living in. In Episode II, she told Shion to go to Old Miltia and save her sisters. Finally, in Episode III, Shion and company met her several times when they were in the recreation of the Miltian Conflict in Shion’s subconscious. After Shion and company battled Virgil in Testament form, Febronia talked to him and finally brought peace to his troubled soul.

Febronia was a very gentle, compassionate person. She would do anything to help someone, even give up her life. She hoped that one day, all Realian consciousness would be free.
