She's lost so many close to her. I'd be traumatized if I saw my parents get brutally killed like that. Especially if I was as young as she was when it happened.

Agreed. I also don't really think she's "bitchy" at least by my standards. Yeah she complains sometimes, and can be bossy, but I usually define "bitchy" as being purposefully mean, kaniving and hurtful. Shion isn't any of those things, she just complains sometimes and can be a little selfish and bossy.

Agreed. I can see she has a very good heart and means well. She kind of reminds me of myself sometimes.

First, I want to join!

Second, I think a lot of people can't see past her sometime attitude to understand that Shion's hurting. Yes, the way she acts can be cruel at times, but I also blame the ones who allow her to keep acting that way toward them (see Allen and Miyuki.) However, she's shown that she has a very good heart, and she cares for people. She comforts MOMO and Jr. in separate games, and she doesn't do so for selfish reasons. What happened to her when she was little had a tremendous effect on her, and growing up with Jin can't have helped. Jin's not exactly Mr. Social and Understanding, after all. I don't see him doing well in the guardian role...
